Sculptural lighting · Melbourne

Light, printed slowly.

Five table lamps, each a single continuous print with the geometry doing the work — pleats, fins, strata, cells, a weave. Made to order in Melbourne, one at a time.

How it’s made

One piece at a time, slowly, in Melbourne.

01 · You choose

Colour, base ring, diffuser and an optional engraving. Nothing is stocked; every lamp is printed for its owner.

02 · We start

Orders placed this week go onto the printer from Monday 21 September. Most shades are a single eighteen-to-twenty-hour print.

03 · You see it

We email a photograph of your piece on the printer, and again when it is finished and checked.

04 · It arrives

Packed with the base ring and a signed card, 2–3 weeks from order. FREE AU over $100.

The studio

Formada Studio is the design line of Formada3D, Melbourne.

The workshop makes the practical things — racks, mounts, planters. The studio is where we spend longer on fewer objects: lamps and home pieces that earn their place by form alone, printed in one piece from plant-based PLA and PETG, and finished by nothing but the material itself.
